Appalasuri Role Challenged Me The Most: Jagapathi Babu
Jagapathi Babu has called his role Appalasuri in Peddi the best character of his career. Speaking ahead of the film’s June 4th release, he praised director Buchi Babu Sana for designing the role with a clear vision.
Jagapathi Babu said he felt the character was special the moment he saw himself in the getup created with makeup artist Rashid.
He added that among all the roles he played after Legend, Appalasuri stands at the top because of its emotions, performance scope and unique look for sure.
The actor also openly revealed that dubbing for the role was extremely challenging due to the dialect and emotional depth.
He further praised Charan’s dedication saying the actor performed risky stunts without any body double and even suffered many injuries during the shoot of this film. Peddi releases on June 4th.
